Kathleen’s Writing Career and a NEW Book!

I am excited to announce my new book – a biography on Amalia Kussner. She was a Gilded Age artist – who painted of the society greats (the Astors, Vanderbilts, Goulds, etc) but also the reigning monarchs (Edward VII and Czar Nicholas II and Czarina Alexandra). In additional to her fascinating adventures to Europe, Russia and South Africa, there will be 75 images – chronicling her artwork and her life.

The book is available for pre-order through these websites:

Prior to her work on this biography, I have had a long and varied career as a freelance writer, publishing in New England area publications. These periodicals included: Boston Magazine, New Hampshire Premier, and Newburyport Daily News. The topics have ranged from history, science and fascinating personality profiles. Recently, my writing talents have translated to developing scripts for the People Hidden in History podcast series. I am always looking for new and interesting topics. See WRITING SAMPLES at the bottom of this page.
